A truss as used in the entertainment sector is a modular, spatial lattice structure, predominantly made of welded aluminium tubes. It is designed to build 2D or 3D structures to support loads such as set props, lighting or sound equipment.
It can also be used to enhance and modernise permanent retail installations such as clubs, bars, restaurants, convention centres and offices.

ShowQuip have for over eleven years imported the Global range of alloy trusses and have developed a fine working relationship with the company. This is an extremely well-made product fabricated in Asia to strict German RUTUV standards and offers a cost-effective alternative for education, exhibition and conference sectors.
ShowQuip are now into the tenth year of their licensing agreement with prominent UK truss manufacturer Total Solutions Group. This enables Total Fabrications truss designs to be manufactured by us in New Zealand. This agreement has been beneficial to clients in the Southern Hemisphere by making available a range of proven UK/European truss designs with local back-up service and eliminating expensive international freight costs.
